Entry DescriptionONE TIANAN PLACE is an ecological integrated community located in Minhang District, Shanghai. It is planned to collect residences, clubs, commercial plazas, elderly care center, sports centers, business centers, kindergartens and rainforest markets. The first to showed area is the "Rain Forest market", Currently used as a sales office, then will be transformed into a community market to continue to serve residents in the future.
The architecture was inspired by the forests of Shanghai, creating a sheltered canopy of trees with modular market stalls below. The designers used a variety of different lighting systems to express the rich layers of the top, outline, roots and details of the building. However, the only outward light comes from starlight spots on the surface of the grille, which do slow and gentle breathing under the control of a dimming system. The mushroom umbrella is setted up down lights to soften the boundary between the building and the street. After the market is opened to the public, it is like a small living room under the elevated level, where people gather to rest and wait. The landscape lighting is controlled to match the architecture, The reflection effect of the water feature is used to enrich the image of the night.
