Entry DescriptionLongzhu First Road crosses the Dasha River Bridge and is adjacent to the Dasha River Culture and Sports Center. The road of six lanes connects the center, the Chaguang metro station, and Shahe West Road, forming a small transportation loop in the area.
The lighting integrates technology with art. Both the bridge and surrounding environment are part of the design. The bridge’s impressive width was applied in creating an interesting interaction between people and the lighting, and the projection of poetry adds to the sense of culture. Indeed, many calligraphists have enjoyed copying the calligraphy.
The dynamic point lights on both sides of the bridge produce a dreamlike feeling of watching a video, adding to the magnificence of the Dasha River Ecological Corridor and extending the splendor of the nightscape in Shenzhen Talent Park. The intensity of the light blends well with the environment, echoing the idea of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature and creating a unique, beautiful, and alluring scene.
The projection of poetry from ages past on the underside of the bridge is a means of promoting China’s calligraphy culture while adding a taste of tradition and some essence of Cantonese culture to the modernized city, sculpting a nightscape that blends nature and culture.
