Entry DescriptionCafe Bobs is a unique café that houses a deli, bakery, wine room, cigar room, function rooms, and a roof deck bar that converts into a sports bar.
The lighting for this café/restaurant had to be cohesive yet particular, serving the individual needs of the different areas. The transition from one place to the next is seamless & continuous. Where the walls do not divide and, at times, are see-through, lighting becomes a significant element of the interconnectedness of the spaces. Darkness, light, and shadows become a powerful silent language that connects or divides areas depending on its use.
Sustainability ApproachBy being very conscious of using energy-efficient lighting fixtures from companies with environmental conservation initiatives, such as using energy-conscious, highly efficient LED lighting equipment that drives the ecological load reduction through resource circulation by-product recycling and manufacturing more environmentally friendly materials free from regulated ecologically harmful substances, we hope to address the issue of sustainability.
