Entry Description

Located in prime Cairnhill district of Singapore, a 3-storey home at the top of the building surrounded with floor to ceiling glass facades, unblocked 360 degree view of the city skyline.
Modern fine luxury lighting design theme aims to complement the changing outdoor natural lighting from dawn to dusk. With a minimalist approach, a thoughtful lighting layout plan was made to achieve subtle emphasis on key features of the home, while creating a soft and soothing ambience for relaxation and comfort.
By studying structural layout and overall colour theme of the interior fit out, we designed for warm white 2700K at CRI90 for the indoor and outdoor spaces (i.e walkways and the glittering swimming pool), to be a showpiece in the dark night.
A highlight is exclusive master bedroom. With ambience lighting, water wave effect designer pendant light, curved corners of the walls and customised oyster pearl wall finishing, the lighting layering creates a space as though you are on a seabed looking up. It achieves a deep sense of tranquillity.
Second highlight at living room and dining area featuring light fixture with gold finishes, rustic gold-painted ceiling, mahogany coloured wood timbre flooring and beige furniture. Adding a touch of glamour and sophistication, elevating the overall design and creating a luxurious feel.
Sustainability Approach

A deliberate study to compare numerous product types and its’ technical specifications allow us to propose an overall lighting solution that uses lower power wattage, higher lumens light fittings and durability to achieve the same illumination design intent for a minimalist lighting design space. By reducing light fittings and the total power load consumption, we concurrently reduced the upfront carbon footprint from the hardware and the future electrical energy power consumption. Using quality parts increases durability, thus reducing maintenance and recyclable waste in the future.
With the use of smart lighting controls, the lights are zoned and dimmable to required level for each area, thus minimises energy wastage.
The penthouse’s floor-to-ceiling windows bathe in natural light from dawn to dusk in 360degree view. This reduces the need for artificial lighting during daylight hours.
