Entry Description

The Bellhop was launched by FLOS at Salone del Mobile in 2017. The design was created by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for the London Design Museum, which opened in 2016. The first model in the series was the portable table top lamp.

The Bellhop table lamp is a rechargeable direct lighting device, offering 4 different lighting brightness settings creating the perfect ambiance, all controlled through a single intuitive button. Evoking the spirit of a candle, the Bellhop can be carried from room to room, casting a pool of direct light wherever it goes. Portable and wireless, it charges via a micro USB-C and holds charge for up to 8 hours. The device can be used anywhere adding a playful and inviting touch to any table. Bellhop comes in four enticing colours, grey, white, burnt orange and dark brown.

Bellhop has created a new archetype for lighting, bringing portability, playfulness and function to the forefront of contemporary lighting. The design is iconic in silhouette and colour, with attention to detail on the inside, but also through the internal hardware. Catering for the users lighting needs that can be used anywhere at anytime.
