Entry Description

This project is located in Xi'an high-tech industrial development zone, is a night scene lighting construction concentrated area, about 22 square kilometers.

In the past ten years, there have been a lot of lighting construction in this area, but there are many problems, such as some lamps have serious glare, color and dynamic disorder, and the media facade picture is boring. The lighting in the area cannot be controlled uniformly and is difficult to manage. In this regard, the project is designed in the following three aspects.

1.In order to make the overall night scene of the building complex harmonious, the design turns off some lamps in the building to improve the effect. Upgrade and compatible with the original 10 kinds of weak current control systems and 3 types of communication protocols, to achieve integrated management.

2.The design combines modern digital technology with Xi 'an cultural heritage and is reflected on the media facade, which can meet the night landscape needs of large-scale urban events.

3.Ensure the beauty and comfort of pedestrian space lighting, only retain a small amount of residential building lighting.

After the completion of the project, it received high evaluation in various media reports, and also increased the pride of local residents. It has become a typical case of promoting urban renewal in the field of lighting.
Sustainability Approach

Stock update: Different from general new construction projects, this project involves a total of 821 buildings, only 30 of which add new lamps as a whole, and all other buildings make use of existing lighting facilities for fine tuning.

Energy saving: All lamps use environmentally friendly and durable LED light sources. Sub-mode control, energy saving, after the completion of the project, such as CBD area (project core area) electricity saving of nearly 40%.

Comprehensive design: In order to guide the lighting design, the team first evaluated the lighting from seven aspects: night safety, urban vitality, diversity and inclusiveness, night life comfort, night city characteristics, ecological livable, and social satisfaction. At the same time, combined with regional characteristics and development needs, analyze the direction of urban planning, and only do the necessary lighting.
