Entry Description

The Yellow River Grand Canyon is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot. The River draws a curve here, forming a unique natural landscape. Relying on Canyon ecological advantages, ecological development should be integrated into all aspects of scenic areas.
The night tour lighting project takes the road network as the axis and culture as the core. The lighting integrates the ecological scenery of the canyon. It is based on "world vision, Chinese characteristics, and the dream of the Yellow River." It uses "light paints the vast scenery, and shadows explore the magnificent scenery of the canyon" as the concept.
Design combining lighting performance with tourism experience, emphasizing smart lighting, creating three lines to connect 22 scenic spots so that every place and every facility can convey unique emotions. Tourists can experience, ponder, and narrate unique emotions, such as having multiple journeys.
There are three lines to present the design: the natural line, the entertainment line, and the Yellow River Civilization Line. Through the color change, intelligent interaction improves the tourist experience and creates a strong sense of perspective at night time to advertise local culture.

Sustainability Approach

Develop reasonable energy consumption indicators and improve energy utilization efficiency.

Give priority to using energy-saving, efficient, and environmentally friendly lighting equipment the country and industry recommends, such as high-efficiency LED energy-saving lamps, energy-saving equipment with frequency conversion technology, etc.

Use renewable energy sources such as solar and wind according to local climate and natural resource conditions.

To ensure functions and effects, the quantity and control of lights should be reasonably adjusted, and the wiring layout should be relatively independent.

Use current reduction control to save energy and extend the service life of lamps.
