Entry Description

516 Creative Design Smart Park, located in Ganzhou Rongjiang New District, is an urban renewal project that transforms old factory buildings to a new park with a total area of about 15,000 square meters.
516 Park was formerly a circuit board factory in the last century. In order to preserve some previous styles, the lighting design innovatively utilizes luminous tiles to outline the bright lines and geometric patterns symbolizing the "circuit board" on the open plaza and walls of the entrance area. Based on the color of the old circuit board, the surface of the luminous tiles is designed in different colors, creating a sharp contrast between the old and the new with the floor tiles and red walls of the plaza.
Meanwhile, the colored lights of the glass canopy above the central corridor are controlled by DMX512 to correspond with the light of the entrance wall, achieving the integration of the ground landscape and the wall architecture, making the interior and exterior echo each other and enriching the different layers. The design pays tribute to the history of the former circuit board factory, while simultaneously highlighting the characteristics of the new park's design, creating a distinctive, creative and trendy new park. The lighting design accentuates the space's distinctive allure at night, imbuing it with the past and today's essence.
Sustainability Approach

516 Creative Design Smart Park determines the standard value of brightness according to the function and nature of the lighting site, the brightness of the environmental area, and the surface decoration materials, and selects LED lights with high luminous efficiency and power factor more than 0.9. The use of intelligent lighting control system is divided into three control modes: weekday mode, general holiday mode and major holiday mode, which is conducive to lighting energy saving.
